Professional Training

 

Professional training for directors helps you take your craft to the next level. Over two or three days, each group session concentrates on improving your skill set, combining a study of acting techniques with how to build the character-in-action for the camera.

Working in a group enables you to:

  • Deepen your understanding of how to work with actors
  • Compare ways of building the dramatic action of a scene
  • Explore new approaches to visual storytelling

You will do this by:

  • Practising basic acting techniques;
  • Analysing a scene to find its meaning;
  • Experimenting with using space and place in storytelling.
